Welcome! We’re Nick and Kelsey Price, the husband-and-wife team behind Select Home Painting. Based in Sturgeon Bay, we proudly serve homeowners throughout Door County.

To us, a painting project isn't just about applying a fresh coat of paint—it’s about helping our neighbors transform their houses into spaces they love, delivered with honest communication and meticulous care.

Our Story

Nick’s painting career began during his college years at Montana State University, where he first discovered a passion for craftsmanship and residential improvement. Over the years, that work grew into a dedicated career focused on quality preparation, durable finishes, and straightforward customer service.

With Nick’s mom having grown up in Sturgeon Bay, Door County was always a second home to us. When it came time to settle down, buy a house, and build a business, coming back to Sturgeon Bay was the natural choice.

How We Work Together

Select Home Painting is a true husband-and-wife team:

 Nick (Owner & Lead Operator): Manages client communications, project estimates, prep work, and painting. Nick works directly with homeowners from first contact through the final walkthrough.

 Kelsey (Partner, Co-Painter & Bookkeeper): On site for every job handling surface preparation and painting alongside Nick, while also managing the financial bookkeeping behind the scenes.

When you hire Select Home Painting, you get both of us on site every step of the way—no sales reps, out-of-town franchises, or unknown subcontractors.
